For anyone who isn't familiar, iTwin is the world's first USB flash drive that allows users to remotely share files and documents stored on the device with anyone, anywhere around the world. At CES 2012 iTwin announced an upgrade that will now allow users to share files with multiple people at the same time.
“With iTwin Multi, iTwin not only provides file access but also a simple and secure means to share and collaborate. This feature was developed in response to the demands of many of our customers,” said Lux Anantharaman, co-founder and CEO of iTwin.
With virtually limitless storage (nothing is actually stored on the drive itself), two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption, iTwin already had a lot going for it when it was revealed earlier this year. The new ability to connect multiple iTwin drives to the same Mac or PC and share files with multiple people just makes it that much more useful when compared to cloud storage services that lack the same level of security and flexibility. Not to mention the fact that it could very well replace VPN and remote access software in many situations.
